Sports and Exercise Psychologist in Training

Working in a targeted and personal way to help you reach your performance and well-being goals.

Megan is a Sports and Exercise Psychologist in Training, on the Professional Doctorate course at Liverpool John Moores University. Megan's passion for sports began when she was younger, when she was introduced to the world of horse riding.

Ever since, Megan has been combining both passions, which led her to start her journey to becoming a Sports and Exercise Psychologist! Originally from Guernsey, Megan moved to Sheffield, where in 2020, she graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She then completed a Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University.

Megan has competed regionally and nationally in dressage, and is currently a member of the British Dressage National Academy Programme. This hands on experience of what it is like to be an athlete, combined with her knowledge and passion for supporting and improving both performance and well-being, puts Megan in a place to understand your needs and provide personalised psychology support.

As athletes, we spend a lot of time training for the physical aspects of performance. However, performance is more mental than it is physical, which can often be the thing stopping us from unlocking the full potential of our training. This is where Megan and Sports Psychology come in, to help you unleash your full potential and help you to perform at the best of your ability.
